BAPTS at Open Days

On Oct. 6, BAPTS will hold a workshop titled "Think global, act local – Territorial Cooperation of Cities and Regions for European Model Solutions on Clean Urban Transport" at the prestigious Open Days in Brussels.

The debate shall highlight how regions and cities contribute to delivering the European cohesion, competitiveness and climate change agenda by boosting more sustainable and efficient public transport systems.

Workshop on real time information in multimodal transport networks

The International Institute for Information Design (IIID) in Vienna continues its highly successful Expert Forum Traffic & Transport Information Systems into the 5th year. Unsurpassed in its field, this year's event is focused on Real time information in multimodal transport networks.

The Expert Forum will focus on technical requirements and user preferences and how real time information can help determine the most convenient journey - which is often a combination of private and public transport.

to the BAPTS project – Boosting Advanced Public Transport Systems.

The mission of BAPTS is to implement an integrated package of high-quality public transport systems and services as model solutions for clean, efficient, accessible and sustainable mobility in North West Europe (NWE). In order to achieve this ambitious aim BAPTS combines nine partners from six European countries who translating different approaches into tangible action and high-quality outputs.

The project is co-financed by the European Union’s (EU) European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of INTERREG IVB North West Europe (NWE) Programme 2007-2013.
